I attended a shoot at RAF Cosford last Tuesday, really pleased with the results, particularly this one, there was about 40+ other Togs there as well and I'm pleased to say, 4 of us, inc me were Pentax users with 3 x K1's and a K3 in attendance.

A powerful and dramatic image with a great exposure! And refreshing to hear you weren't the only Pentax User for once.

Yes great capture. Better not say you shot it, it might fire back! It looks threatening.
Yes, seems the K-1 has revived the Pentax brand... at last. Quite deservedly.

Great picture, really great. If it were me I would crop a little bit off the right for balance but I am nitpicking.

What can I say. Superb shot. The light, the tone, the compo. Would love to see it large.

Hi Royd63uk

Hobbyist, for my own interest. it was an organised shoot by TimeLine Events, I would be interested in publication, not sure where to start

Great shots Chris, where do you find out about these shoots, I've seen the results from several of them but only after the event. The only one I saw beforehand was the Lightning shoot at Bruntingthorpe but wasn't free that day. I'd love to go on one if only I could find one beforehand really want it to be fast jets too, I looked on timeline events and all the upcoming ones seem older aircraft.

Hi Mcpieman,

Here's the link, many sell out very quickly, the last one within 2 weeks and that was for 2 days, I've booked another shoot with a Vulcan at Wellesbourne for this October, I booked it last Nov and again it sold out within 7 days.

You just have to keep trying and be prepared to commit many months in advance, this was the first one I'd done and the comms / organisation was very good as well as being a relaxed shoot.

If you register for the news letter, you'll get notification as soon as the events go up on the web site.

Thanks Chris, I've registered for the newsletter so hopefully I'll get to know early enough They did a couple of coldwar jet nightshoots at Yorkshire Air Museum last year, was hoping they would do them again but there is nothing on their website yet.

These are really great, the first one is my favourite as it captures the mood perfectly, well done.
All the best

I did Neil's first shoot with XM655 at Wellesbourne back in Nov 14 -my daughter is at college in Moreton Morrell about 3miles away. Unfortunately, Wellesbourne Airfield has been selected as a site for a new town, and is likely to be built on, so time to see the vulcan is running out! Timeline Events has certainly expanded recently with photo events with planes, trains, boats and buses, as well as traction engines, birds and glamour models in locations through out the country.
