question about the Pentax 100 mm FA 2,8 Macro lens

I bought this lens used and did not receive a manual.

Im wondering if anyone can tell me what the two buttons on the lens are used for. One is a clamp on/off button, the other is apparently a focus thing.

I´m new to this so is anyone willing to describe what these buttons do? how should i use them. independently or not etc.....

One is a focus restrictor to limit the range (either long-to-mid or mid-to-short). It saves the lens hunting from macro to infinity and back again

The clamp allows you to create some friction for the focus ring. This is useful when you are trying to manually focus with macro and allows more accurate focussing.
