For quite a while my Q has been the camera of choice

My Qs are almost constant companions and even better I enjoy using them without worrying how the shots turn out...if they work then it's brilliant if they don't hey nothing lost. I didn't feel that way when I used the K3...that's why it had to go (well one of the reasons)

Every couple of months I think - should I sell my Q? It does not get a lot of use - and then I pick it up and smile (it always make me smile) and decide that I should not sell it - I should learn how to use it properly and not just use it for point and shoot grab shots.

So - should you buy the Q10? - no you should not - it will get under your skin - you will not know why - and you will question your sanity - and then you will pick it up again and smile - darn it - time for my medication - nurse!!

Buy it - you know you want to

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

If you prefer to use an itegral viewfinder (the clip on one is expensive and naff), if you use reading glasses, if you want to see the lcd when the sun is shining brightly, then on no account should you buy a Q.

Despite these caveats, I bought one and use the viewfinder, and I do really enjoy using it, although for very different reasons to those that give me such enjoyment from using the K-5

I had a Q a while back, I sold it on because I couldn't get used to a camera without a view finder.

BUT having taken up cycling again as part of my cardivascular recovery I've got tired of luging around a DSLR in a slingshot so I've bought another, fits great in the leg pockets of cargo shorts.
Cheers
Brian.
LBA is good for you, a Lens a day helps you work, rest and play.
