Q with 15-45

I posted an entry in this week's competition of a picture taken with the above combination. Only now am I thinking how remarkable the IQ is considering the subject matter is twenty miles from the camera.

That's the standard 'kit' lens for that system isn't it?

I've been pretty darn impressed with what I've seen of the Q concept.

A few questions if I may:
Is there much of a difference in practise between the original Q/Q10 and the newer Q7? (Almost double the cost in some cases).

and for general info's sake, is the sensor in the Q/Q10 the same as in the MX-1?

No, it isn't the standard, the 15 - 45 is the Telephoto zoom ( multiply by 5.5 for the 35mm equivalent) and the 5-15 is this standard zoom.

The Q has a smaller sensor than the MX1 which has the same sensor as the Q7.

This raises the interesting point that for this week's competition "Wider than 50" this telephoto zoom would qualify!
