I was seriously thinking of making my own pin hole body cap

I've tried it with a PK mount cover...
Took some fine copper and a needle to make the hole, then glued that over a larger hole in the cover (better than just a hole in the plastic).
Was fun to try, but results were dreadful! Probably had to have a better quality hole

I think one person on the US forum bought one, that's the only one I've heard about. I like the idea of a good pinhole lens but f9 means high iso, very high iso for lower light street where I believe it would be at it's most effective and that's an issue. It's not about IQ obviously but the noise goes way beyond pleasant film like grain.

Or do what they did in the old days..... a longer shutter time. I think one person on the US forum bought one, that's the only one I've heard about. I tried it with a body cap once, and wasn't very effective. I really think you need the smallest hole possible for the netter picture

I understand the technique is to use very thin copper plate, press a pin just through it and then sand the pushed out metal slightly to make a perfectly round aperture.
It's unfortunate the 07 is £49.99, but then the mount and body of it are made to the same standard as any other Pentax lens, so it probably can't be much less.
I think I'd jump in at £30 and there's some potential in it.

Has anyone tried one yet? I fancy buying one, but I might just wait until the price drops at some future point.
