I rarely use the somewhat odd 07 "shield mount" lens on my Qs, but this one seems to work.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Has that lens baby look to them. Being Welsh, you can't go wrong with an image of a daff or 2!

I think that was the idea of the 07 lens. It's a bit of a marmite job but it was pretty cheap. I'm just missing the 08 now but they are like unicorn droppings and £££.

I'm the same, I was seriously contemplating the Q 08 lens - but the scarcity and prices have now put the idea well out of reach - which is a shame because I love the Q system as my cycle touring camera set-up.

I've held back from commenting until I'd worked out why I like this. And now I know. It's the combination of sharpness in the centre, the slabs (grave stones?) in the distance above and the flowerless space below. They seem to complement each other and draw the eye into the centre. Scroll down to cut off the slabs and to my eyes it becomes just a largely fuzzy and unstructured picture of daffodils. Scroll up again to include the slabs and it all works again. Well spotted!
