Problems using search

Google is clever. This forum's search function is not so clever.
Problem 1: "Pentax-F 50mm 1:1.7" is a different phrase from "Pentax-F 1:1.7 50mm".
Problem 2: The forum's search strips some punctuation characters from the phrase, so "Pentax-F 1:1.7 50mm" gets turned into "Pentax-F 117 50mm".

Have heard it called a lot of things, but never clever. I do agree though; the programing is highly sophisticated.Google is clever

Indeed
You should search for French Military Victories and click I'm feeling lucky
But seriously the search engine here does not work so great, most of the time I adapt google to only search on this web, that works better sometimes.

Amazing they managed to put together the second-largest empire in history. Sorry, I'm a bit of a Francophile with dreams of moving to the south of France and I make a point of defending them whenever I can. It can be hard going, though.Indeed

what was the question that got the answer 42?
According to Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, when Arthur Dent drew random tiles from a bag of scrabble characters, the letters made the question "What do you get if you multiply six by nine?"what was the question that got the answer 42?
The rest, as they say, is history ..........

Which equals ?
It depends on the number base you use. If you use base 13 rather than decimal numbering then 6 x 9 = 42 is actually correct. (Douglas Adams says that he did not intend this).Which equals ?
Consider the possibility that, even after seven and a half million years of calculation, "Deep Thought" might have got the answer wrong. After all, it was developed by a "pan-dimensional, hyper-intelligent race of beings (whose three dimensional protrusions into our universe are ordinary white mice)" and not by IBM.
