I am a new user to this camera & still learning.
Every time i try to take a single shot the shutter goes twice & then takes time to process the image (of which there is only one )
I have been trough all the menus but cannot find out how to fix this

Check to see if the shutter is set to operate using the 2 sec. timer don't have a Kr but it's usually on one of the function buttons on the back of the camera.

Its also possible you have it set to a slow shutter speed (or the camera is choosing one), the double exposure your hearing is probably the shutter opening and then closing after the time lag, that would also account for the image taking longer to process and be displayed on the LCD

In addition to the above:

Could it be you've got HDR switched on? That would take more than one shot - not sure how many though.

Could it be you've got multi exposure switched on?

Is it possible you've got drive set to hi speed - that would give fast shooting while you've got the shutter pressed - although you would get several shots.

One thing that caught me out and made the camera slow to display and save an image, was that I'd inadvertently switched Lens correction on. This really did slow things down.

Cheers, davey.
