A good blast with a Rocket Blower can usually shift dust inside the VF - works for me anyway

In nearly 20 months of (fairly) heavy use I've never "wet cleaned" anything inside or outside my camera. The Rocket Blower does a fantastic job as long as you use it regularly and there's less chance of damaging anything fragile as you never make contact with anything.
If you're anything like me you'll probably find it's the best ten quid you ever spend...

Search the forum for tips on cleaning or replacing the focusing screen. It is the focusing screen that you see when looking through the eyepiece.

Thanks Iceblinker for clarrifying that - i'm still a bit of a newb when it comes to DSLR's!
Thanks Hefty - I find it encouraging that in 20 months you've only ever needed one of those - so I should'nt need my swabs and fluid when I get my K20D then, just rely on this when it comes! I like the sound of this, as I must admit I was'nt really keen on using the swabs (though they did the job) I just did'nt like the thought of tampering inside the camera touching the sensor, and I'm glad that I wont need to in the future.
Thanks chaps.

Just to complete things - I just wanted to say that the rocket blower arrived today and it did the trick superbly, again huge thanks for suggesting that Hefty!

Like I said, can't think of a better spend of ten quid! Glad it worked

Is this possible? And any suggestions on how to get rid of the pesky dust?
Thanks in advance!!!
