BBC Teletext this morning (Business section) is quoting someone from main photographic goods distributor
...INTRO 2020 who distribute lots of brand names including Tamron and Samyang (lenses) to say that due to currency weakness after Brexit prices are going up.

Could have a significant impact on bodies and lenses if this is a general across the industry rise...BUY NOW
if you were intending to anyway.

That's why I bought my K-1 the day after Brexit. The Canikon guys who buy direct from Hong Kong using the likes of Panamoz were already that day stating they'd seen price increases.

So long as it doesn't have too much of an effect on prices for used/previously owned/whatever items...

SteveH!

Some people call me 'strange'.
I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.

I think it will impact on the used market. Supply and demand and all that. More people looking for used because new is now out of their price range.

The Pentax site lists the K-70 as available but not the K-1 nor the new FF lenses although retailers have stocks.
