The 28mm f2 would be close in "angle of view" and speed to my FA43 on film. It would be tempting if it isn't horrendously expensive.

The pics on the rumour site show the alleged new lenses to be DA* SDM lenses. Uh-oh. I wonder how many folks in the UK would have the money for those, unless they are priced at far less than DA* lenses to date. Less than 100 buyers here? Oh well, we'll see.

There appears to be grade inflation at Pentax, so many DA* and Ltds now...

Some cheap primes might be nice, where are the cheap 50mm f/1.7 the 28mm and the 135 f/2.4
Maybe Pentax thinks that since most is covered by the zooms we don't want primes.

I have a big pile of primes. All cost me less than £100 on ebay and give lovely results. Try attaching a 35 year old Canon lens to a modern Canon camera... In fact, there is a substantial group of people attaching Takumar M42 lenses to Canon cameras.

There are also rumours beginning to rise about some new Pentax lenses on DPR Pentax forum, as well as a possible new APS-C body.
20mm f2.0
28mm f2.0
10-16mm f4.0
As for the lenses? Well I suspect the chances of Hoyatax charging south of £600 (substitute '£900' in respect of the 10-16) for any of those to be about the same as Scotland's chances of winning Euro 2012 .
