portfolio feedback needed please

am aplying - for more magazine work so have updated my portfolio.

would like some c & c & need to know it works ok.

Looks great Gary. You know your audience but I'd be tempted to push one or two close ups nearer to the top of the order, just to grab attention.

Look fine to me but the ones that i like most are the ones where the subject has not got a mike in the middle of thier face.

The two I would rethink are;
No7 Highlight on face.
No29 Mic in the way.
A great selection of a difficult subject.

Most of them are fabulous! There are a few that are a little soft, like the Kelly Jones one, perhaps re-think those?

A super set of shot's, as said, a very difficult subject. Agree with previous comment's made regarding mic in front of face, but overall very nice.

I like the site, the photos load fast and navigation is easy. It does what it's meant to and shows the photos off well. Oddly a lot of photographers sites (including the Pentax Gallery) don't.

The photos are very good and only you know who you will be directing to the site and you will have the best idea of what to show them and in what order.

I like the site. As Algi said it loads quickly, is easy to navigate, and shows off the photos very well.

I don't have a problem with mics in front of faces - with some singers it is glued to their lip it seems, making it nigh impossible to a shot of them without it.

Although it is a little soft I love the Nicky Wire shot!

I hope you manage to get some paid work out of it.

The Kelly Jones shot seems most contoversial. the reason I included it was to break up the portrait shots from being side to side, plus I loved the colours. I actually took that shot on the main stage at V Festival stood on top 5 rung step ladders lol...

pl easef it worked ok. will have another look tonight & maybe tweak a couple of images...

You need to put your name on the opening page at least. If you can't put it anywhere else make a cover out of the 1st photo with your name in large type.
