Pop-up flash on MZ-5N

The flash does not pop-up when the release button is pressed - just wondering if there is an easy fix for this or is this a service centre task. I'm not too scared of using a screwdriver and trying to fix it myself. Does anyone have a PDF of the flash assembly?

I'm suprised no one has got back to you yet, I've no experience of this type of servicing I'm afraid but was wondering if you are able to lift the flash manually whilst pressing the button.
If so, then at least it would be usable and you may be able to see inside for anything that might be fouling the mechanism.

I think this is a fairly common problem on the MZ series - it happened to my MZ-3 in the warranty period so I sent it back to Pentax, who apparently fixed it (but the camera was 'lost' in transit so I got a replacement bofy).
