You can't - they are there because the person you have sent them to has not yet received them - ie has not signed on to read them.
Once he reads them they move to your sent box

It's actually quite handy, you can still edit your send PM now until he opens it and when he has opened it you know he has done that.

I have two PM's stuck in my Outbox that I need to send on their way urgently.
