It usually means that the sender has decided to delete their message before you have had a chance to read it.

Makes sense! As it stays in the outbox of the sender if I'm not mistaken

I've recently joined and I have a question regarding pm's. I received an email indicating that I had received a new pm, yet coming to the forum, there is no new pm in my inbox.
Has this ever happened to anyone?
