That first is my clear favourite Mat, although 7 is good too. The clean, black background helps IMO.

1 would have been excellent if that flower in the top left was dropping like the rest and not cut off. As it is it is merely very good Nice light.
Must admit I'm not super keen on the black backgrounds, they're okay but I think I would have tried to balance the flash with the ambient light a little more and (hopefully) get some 'gardeny' backgrounds.

Thanks guys I am still experimenting with different lighting. I am mainly drawn to the black backgrounds if I can achieve them, but I have one or two with more 'gardeny' backgrounds... I shall keep at it! I must say that I have had the sigma 180 macro for a few weeks now and whilst I find I need to use a tripod to get the best from it (moreso than I have found with other lenses) I love the way it renders images. Quality!
