Oh yes, you can easily be overwhelmed by the simplest application if you read the manual first which may have been written by an over-tech-headed writer. Manuals, after all, are not pre-requisites to actually using an app. Neither are all features of an app mandatory to know or even use. One generally does not use all sizes of a socket set, one just finds the socket that fits and uses it. (If you get my analogy)

I think the main thing is to try and pin down if we think the yellow cast was 'baked in' by the camera settings at capture, or added later.

I wonder, is there any way to know whether this is a result of a colour temperature inaccuracy, or a yellow saturation issue? In my experience there is sometimes crossover between the results of these two things.

Unless the OP posts the 'original' we may never know.
