Hi paul congrats on the birth of your son.
The first one looks a little over exposed, but your right the trees look good with the buildings in the backgraoud.
BTW My companies head office is on the 23 floor of the AMP building, 2nd from the right.
I like very much the second shot, was it taken from Circular Quay :

Thanks Clarky,
I have adjusted the tree pic a little, is that any better?

The second pic was taken from near the CBD, close to Martin Place

Clarky do you accept contracts on people? Those muppets at AMP wrecked my pension for me. I simply could not believe how badly they managed their business!BTW My companies head office is on the 23 floor of the AMP building, 2nd from the right.

I like the second shot too although I wonder if some extra tweaking wouldn't give it some more zip. I think I'd start with fiddling with the levels as I can't manage curves yet!

Heres two of my favorites
This one is from inside the botanical gardens loking out at the city, I liked the way the big old tree sat against the modern sky scrapers behind. (Tweaked in PSE to straighten the verticals)

With this one I noticed how the reflection of the one building was distorted in the other( again straighten in PSE to fix the verticals)

I was quite pleased with them so I would be interestedin you comments and critiques please
