Picasa and K20D

They look fine to me using DNG on the K20D - except you get a ~15% black bar to the right.
I was using PEF. Since Picasa had no problems with PEF RAW files from my K10D, I thought it would be the same with the K20D, but it is apparently different. I guess Picasa will eventually be upgraded to use those files too. Right now, when I want to post pictures into Picasa Web Album, I must either convert them first or shoot JPEG.
I see that somebody already brought it up there but the discussion sort of side tracked

Or shoot RAW+ for the interim?

With the size of the files you get from the K20D, you'll be forever changing SD cards if you go that road, so I'll keep on processing on the computer before posting on Picasa.

If you are using Picasa for sharing images on the web is there a requisite for having full res images available? What size file do you upload? Why I ask is that it's possible to generate a 2MP JPG image in camera using RAW+ which doesn't add very much at all to the overall per shot file space.
