By the way, this is for a WINDOWS operating system- it came with CD-ROMS for windows and Mac systems, but I did not bother to keep the Mac disc unfortunately

I just want to record what a pleasure it was to deal with Don, who took this software on trust, pending licence transfer, and hopefully Adobe will effect the transfer of licence without too much hassle or delay Thanks, Don.

Duncan, if Adobe prove to be difficult, I will still have a good book to read
Good luck with the move to the Q 07.

I should explain that I bought Elements 11 (plus the book), and Lightroom, at the same time, but have found Lightroom on its own sufficient for my purposes, and therefore use it exclusively.
However, you have to be aware that Adobe imposes a formal licence transfer process under which the original owner (me) and the new owner are each obliged to submit Transfer of Licence applications (which can be done on-line). Details of the process are at
http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/transfer-product-license.html
I have this afternoon commenced the process by opening a case number with Adobe, and completing a Transfer of Licence Application. The new owner will have to submit a similar application (on-line).
It may seem a bit of a fiddle, but has actually been pretty straightforward (up till now) so if anyone wants to take me up on this, please let me know.
