Photo software for iPad

I don't have an ipad, but I do have an iPhone and I rather like snapseed. It's pretty easy to use and whilst it's not photoshop, it does have a decent level of funcionality - might be a worth a look (assuming that the app is available on ipad as it is on iphone). That's pretty much all I have really tried by way of photo editing on the iphone though so I don't have much to compare it to...

Snapseed is fun and at the moment is the free app of the week on the AppStore.
iPhoto is pretty good for £2.99 too and it's worth having both especially at those price points. Can't help you with RAW conversion apps though as I just didn't use any, would be interested in anyone's experiences though!

Swank-O-Lab digital darkroom is fun but not your primary tool.

One more vote for iPhoto and Snapseed and I tend to use Snapseed most out of the two.
I'd also recommend PhotoSync for wireless transfer of images from and to the iPad, I've used quite a few transfer apps and this is defiantly the best..
Also there is app called Photosmith which has just been upgraded to version 2 and looks very useful. It allows you to send photographs to your iPad from Lightroom, tag and sort them on your iPad, then re-sync back to light room... Haven't played with it yet, but it looks awesome..

+1 for Photosmith, the new v2 also has native Eye-fi support. Great product, check it out!
K5 + probably too many lenses to be any good! Failing treatment for LBA

Thanks - will look into all suggestions.
Dai_Bach - With Photosmith I see it handles RAW which is good but do you know if it can synchronise with Elements (10) as well as Lightroom?

As Photosmith was designed to work with Lightroom using a custom Lightroom plugin to achieve this, I can't see how it would work with Elements directly.
Lightroom can of course use Elements as an external editor, in addition to Photoshop & other 3rd-party applications.
It's worth noting that Photosmith works fine with .PEF raw files but with .DNG you need to shoot as DNG +Jpeg to capture the exif info properly.

Also I often shoot in 'RAW' and I see there some RAW conversion Apps - again has anybody any experience of them?
I appreciate RAW files use up memory but I do have a 32GB iPad.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers....John
