Cheers Mikew
Amazing, while reading you reply an ad for "Point 101" came up, seems they are a supplier of treated cotton canvas rolls suitable for inkjet printers.
Anyone used this material for direct inkjet printing?
All I now need is a supply of the canvas frames....wonder if an ad will pop up for those now?
Cheers all

I use Fotospeed link, they have a fast free calibration service to profile their papers to your own printer which is the right way to do profiling, as even printers of the same model have small discrepancies.
Pricing and help is top class. Their continuous ink system is also one of the best, which even has pigment inks available for some printers that don't normally have them.
Highly recommended.

Richard, that link really seems fantastic. One problem area for me is finding the right profiles when using paper from other manufacturers and that would really lean me towards getting the paper from a source which provides that too.I use Fotospeed link, they have a fast free calibration service to profile their papers to your own printer which is the right way to do profiling, as even printers of the same model have small discrepancies.

Hi Geoff
You have one of the finest suppliers in Europe right next to the Space Centre in Leicester. It is PaperSpectrum. Just check out their website.
On top of that they will do a personal printer profile for your 1800 and for free of charge.
Chris at PaperSpectrum is one of the most helpful guys I know of and they also deliver locally themselves or by carrier around the country.
You will be glad

Hi Ian
I'll definately do that. It would be great to find a local business so PaperSpectrum will shortly be typed into my browser.
Thanks to all for the suggestions. Its always great to benefit from experience and not to have to re-invent the wheel.
Happy shooting all

Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier of a good variety of photo printing papers please?
My main printer is an Epson R1800 which will take up to A3+ paper and also roll feed.
I would like to try to print "canvas" type papers with a view to framing or even wrapping over a frame.
Many thanks for any suggestions
Geoff
