Flickr is probably your best bet, although the discussions over there are a bit of a pain as there is no notification system for new posts.

www.ephotozine.com has a gallery just for this purpose. You can upload one image per day and get feedback and votes on your pictures.

Just noticed on Flickr they have added email notification:
To keep you in the loop, we notify you by email when there is activity related to you on Flickr. You can customize your notifications or turn them off at any time.
* Would you like to receive an email when there is activity on you and your photos (For example, when someone leaves a comment.)
Yes, as soon as it happens!
Yes, save up all the messages, and send one email per day.

Yes, this part works quite well. What I was referring to was the discussions - you can't get notification of a new post in a thread you have commented in, which for a site of Flickr's size seems ridiculous.
