Moon will set early, skies are forecast clear, no light pollution here. Should be a good show tonight. Battery is being charged for a longy.

DrOrloff - I'm guessing you must use the same tape measure us couriers/freight-forwarders use when calculating the volumetric capacity of lightweight and outsized packages then!!
It's known in the trade as the ISH tape measure, as in "it's 38 cm-ISH! x 25 cm-ISH! x 43 cm-ish! That magical word can add a couple of kilos to a shipment, y'know!!

Nope, those measurements are accurate. My fridge though contains less beer than earlier.

More information is available here.
Now, anyone here have any tips on what to do for tonight? I'm thinking of setting up the tripod in the middle of the park tonight to see how it will look like. Probably download a few apps that will help me position the camera.
