My first thought was my mother, since I don't have any good photos of her. About a year before she died would be good. Before she got ill, and was happy and looking forward to retirement with my Dad.
Famous person? Keef probably. As he is now. All those wrinkles and a twinkle in his eye.

Twiggy.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow.....
She becomes more beautiful as time passes.
A delight!

God. or maybe Jesus.
With approx 870,000,000 copies of the Bible in circulation yearly, I'd think the royalties for having God's portrait on the cover, would be sufficient to retire on.

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

As God is everywhere, Don, you're going to need a pretty wide angle lens...
Since Jesus is already taken, Prophet Muhammed perhaps - but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to show anyone his photo!
In terms of 'sensible' choices, I reckon Bob Marley would be a great subject.

Great thoughts Gwyn. Really appreciate. Well I would love to click a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi in B/W in a thoughtful mood when he was old....regards, jeeess

I have no particular desire to photograph any one person, I've shot pictures of the stars I want to, but I do want to try and get something special out of each photo shoot. Something that really gets to the core of a person's personality.
Sometimes it takes quite some time to get even close.

As this is a bit of fun, you can also choose at what point of their life you could photograph them.
For me I think I would choose Debbie Harry just as she had her hair cut for Heart of Glass in 1979.
