Pentax ZX50

My ZX50 went nuts the other day, advancing the film without the shutter being fired. Now the mirror won't return (locked up), but I can move it with my finger to the down position. TV and AV are limited to 125 and 180 at 8.0. I have changed to new batteries. Help?

Sorry there's nothing to but to send it for repair or grtting a new one. But be carefull maybe is cheaper to buy a new one.

Do not pay more than 50 (us dollars) for rapair. If you are ask for more than that buy a new body (remenber your lens is still working). It make no sense to pay 100 (us dollar) when you can get a new body for $150 or $200

Thanks for the advice from LADphotographer. I had reluctantly reached the same conclusion. I bought a new body and at the same time bought a great used Nikon N90s. I love this camera! Finally a good autofocus that has some substantial weight. Thanks again.
