Hmmm. I've got a better idea. Why not launch a magazine?

Not necessarily... but I was only joking, by the way.

The PU magazine suffered from an almost complete lack of advertisers (and for the life of me I can't see who would be advertising in such a mag anyway, apart from SRS, Park Camera and the like) and was no doubt printed sheet fed, as the run length would be too short for web. Also, why did the publisher insist on quite such high quality paper?

As digital technology matures, it might make sense to try with a magazine again, however, commercial digital print quality is still some way from matching litho, and if you are printing a photography mag you need quality!
