I have seen his work before, awesome stuff I had a brief chat with him mid last year and he sent me a pic of his camera setup. He shoots with an ist* DS with a reversed 50mm lens on bellows and a home made flash setup held together with gaffa tape.

Goes to proove its not what you got, but how you use it.

I am rarely astonished by anyones photos anymore..but these are stunning.

Two nagging points though...are they over-sharpened and are the colours over saturated?

A bit of both, I would imagine. But the pictures are impressive anyhow.

I've heard that there is a growing Pentax group on Flickr...something to do with the exiles that have been banned from DPreview

I've been impressed by this guys work for awhile now but I jus' didn't believe that you could get these images with any lens used normally on the market.
Now I see that he uses a reversed 50mm lens with bellows, WTH. Unbelievable images!
