I always wear a crash helmet to prevent this!

I am one of these endangered species who really likes the K-01 concept. Although I still have my original MX, 1970's retro is just not my thing.

It would be good to see a FF update but with added electronic view finder (remove built in flash). Grip apart, less girth to the body but maybe an aperture control ring incorporated into a distance flange might work. In contrast to the K-1, it would be best to keep it as simple as possible so that it appeals to a different market. (Or to those who, like me Algernon, like to use different cameras for different situations).

Available in yellow, black, white, silver and of course, smurf!

Not expecting a chorus of approval from anyone though,
There's no need to remove the flash to add an EVF (either optional or built in). IMO even a feeble flash adds a lot A pop up model can sometimes be used as a bounce flash too (this undocumented feature works with my Panasonic GF2 by simply pulling the flash backwards after popping it up - perhaps it would work on the K-01 too)

I'd really like if Pentax create and APS-C mirroless with great image stabilization.
Also supply adaptor for full control of FA, DAF and DA lenses.

APS-C gives fantastic results already. For nearly any application APS-C is great. Need more? theres the 645D.

I just bought an Olympus EM-10 II, mostly because the Q's never impressed me and olympus seems better values and crucially better EVF thant Fujifilm XT-10 or XT-20. Also cheaper than those or the Sonys.

Still trying it out and not getting rid of my K10D.

As I mentioned previously, if you want a Pentax APS-C mirrorless the K-01 is it!
Can you explain why you feel an adapter is needed for full control of FA, DAF and DA lenses as they're native lenses for Pentax. Are your thoughts about using them on your Olympus? If its that, Pentax isn't likely to produce it!
You don't of course need to jump to a 645d or even a 645z unless you want to; don't forget the K-1

Re: Wire-Frame Sports Finder

Looking through a viewfinder you can't see say a car coming from outside the viewfinder so you miss it because you can't react quick enough when it enters the viewfinder. With a wireframe you can see everything that's in your normal vision so you can follow it into and out of the frame.
I have found (at air displays etc. with long lenses) that keeping the other eye open too for general aiming and panning solves this problem.

Keeping both eyes open should help with this too.

So where / how does the wire-frame finder fit on the camera?

Think it's made for the Canon and Niton yuppies that don't even know what the shutter button dose

I never warmed to the K-01, prejudice perhaps. I do think since the mirror is off, lighter weight can be had as well as size savings.

The K-01 does this only in part. It is lighter that most Pentax DSLRs, but at 470g there is litle advantage compare to lower range DSLRs. No EVF is an issue for me.

I mention adaptors because I imagine reducing the distance to sensor. This way, short packages could be had, while other lenses can be used with adpators (no size savings on size of course).

I mention the medium format because with the fantastic results of APS-C I see a more logical step to go for the bigger step, if much lower DOF is needed, or better ISO behaviour, or detail at 50 MP.
