Pentax TC Converter A-2XS, how it works?

Its an excellent converter. I've used one combined with an A400 f/5.6 for taking shots of the moon. All the genuine Pentax converters are excellent.

As I have understood it, the TC Converter A-2XS should be used with prime A lenses no longer than 200MM.
There is also a TC Converter A-2XL which should cover 300MM and above.
I could be wrong though.

You're right or close enough to right Martin. I haven't checked at what point the L converter needs to be used, but the principle is as you say.

Actually its 300mm and the TC A-2XL should be used on longer lenses.

I'd have thought any vignetting would be on 35mm, with the APS-C sensor in a digital body being small enough to avoid the vignetting effect.
