I just purchased an old Pentax SV camera which has an external detachable exposure meter. Does anybody know what battery I can use for it? It used one of these mercury batteries, I know they are not available now, but what substitute can I use? Thanks.

Thanks for the link, but do you know what is the original battery?

The model I think is: Pentax Clip-on ExposureMeter for S 1 a/SV (= Model 1 - circular Top Housing)

All the Pentax clip-on CdS meters took the PX 625 1.35V mercury battery.
