Me too, I have the Chinon 28mm f/2.8 and is as sharp as a razor - good for close up work as well

chinon cameras and glass are very underated, in the early 1980s my mate Joe Corrigan used Chinon alot, his favourite was the CE5

The optics in the A version are the same as those in the M mark II, which is not the one shown at the start of this thread. The optics in the original M version are not as good.

The lack of the silver decor ring on the focus ring is the give away plus the serial no is on the body of the lens
