Have you tried all the shutter speeds?
If you are indoors, and set something like f4 for the aperture, you may need a shutter speed as low as 1/2s. I would suggest you keep the aperture at the lowest value and reducing the shutter speed - eventually the Ev bar should change.
If the Ev bar shows underexposure (-) then that's what you'll get.

Hi there Matt
Ur a star
I went as low as 1/25 but I have to go as low as 0.6'' to get it in the middle of the bar with a F of around 3.0.
Thaks alot once again, that's an inexperienced photographer for you.

When I am in the Manual mode for the 750z the photos nearly always come out dark.
The EV bar along the bottom is always set to the far right (minus) no matter what values I set the aperture and shutter speed. This also occurs when I am pointing towards light areas in the house or onto bright white doors. When I half press the shutter release button the screen goes dark and the photo comes out dark as well.
The only time I ca get a photo is whe i have the flash on but this means it might get whitened out or I can't use the Super Macro mode. Ahhhhhhh
The rest of the camera is fine it's only in the Manual Mode?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance
