I still can't promise this far ahead to be there but I will try. Of the two days Sunday 10th would be better for me.

And drive Route 66 on my own, without a woman by my side navigating me and reading maps? Hmmmmm..........You could always threaten to call it off...
Dan
Do you actually want to stay on Route 66?

Cheek! I navigated us all the way along route 66 without a mishap. And we stayed away from Las Vegas Nevada which isn't on the route Unlocker wrote:

Are you driving from Chicago to Santa Monica?
Back on topic.... I can't promise anything yet I shall do my best to get there, either day is good for me, but a lot depends on what the Bill Payer is doing then with work amongst other things.

Sunday please!
What a cheeky lot you are! My map reading skills are excellent, and I can read out directions just like that annoying woman on our sat nav!
Just an idea, but I'm thinking of trashing my wedding dress after the big day - if anyone would like to take photos I can bring the dress along. That's provided the wedding goes ahead and Danny doesn't leave me in the shop on the 9th!

He won't leave you at the shop, not with a load of Pentax Camera's locked on to you trashing your Wedding dress.

Well, I was thinking of going down to the south coast and trashing it in the sea, but if there's somewhere at the meet that's interesting (climbing a tree or something) then I'll definitely consider it. It'll be good to see what kind of images other people get of it too!He won't leave you at the shop, not with a load of Pentax Camera's locked on to you trashing your Wedding dress.
It's just an idea anyway. It'll be nice to meet everyone even if I don't bring the dress, especially as I've been away from the forum for a while.

This poll is for the Pentax Meet in May:roll:, at first I asked you if you wanted the 9th or 10th May 09. Times of meet 10am to 4pm..
Well Tracey and I due to forum members only being able to make the Saturday or Sunday have decided to be at Sherwood on both days if the numbers are there to make it worth while.
We think if 15 or more members for each day, then it will be worth meeting both days.
It's up to your votes
