Great video, thank you for sharing! There is a lot of historical information about the background for Asahi Pentax to make the LX and also a detailed walk through of the cameras’ functions that I found very interesting. The only negative is the very dramatic music in the video, music that would fit a film like "The Lord of the Rings" perfectly (!), but is a bit over the top in a video about a film camera. But - if enjoying the video together with a Heineken, the music becomes less noticable😄

You are very welcome Bjorn. I'm delighted that at least one other person enjoyed it. As for the so called music, I totally agree. Sadly though, that wasn't peculiar to just this video. I dumped my TV back in 2016 and as a consequence I do watch a lot of Youtube content for research and entertainment. Increasingly I'm finding that more and more producers are trying to over dramatise their videos with over loud, noisy thumping music which bears no relation to the content but rather just ruins it. Some even try to talk over and through the noise.
It makes me wonder, do these people bother to preview what they're putting out. I really don't get it. These days if my ears are assaulted within the first few seconds I'll either kill the video or kill the sound and follow it with the sub titles.

It is obvious that the fellow who made the LX video you have linked above, has spent a lot of time producing the video. There are many interesting photos of Pentax designers and engineers, detailed shots of the inside of the LX finder, comparison photo shots etc., everything done to a high photographic standard. With this background it is hard to grasp why the soundtrack (music) is so ill matched, as if the music is not so important? Obviously the music plays an all important role in communicating or supporting the content of a video (or film).
Big thumbs up for dumping the TV👍 I have been contemplating doing the very same thing.

Why after all that Research did they not make it with a faster FLASH SYNCH SPEED for fill-in flash outside then both of mine have the Dreaded Sticky Mirror Syndrome so I am fed up with them..

Somewhere safe in deepest Lancashire.
A must watch for lovers of the LX. If Heineken had made it, it would probably be the best film SLR in the world.
