I presume its only a one year warranty like Amazon...but as you say some of the prices are so low...
My only experience of dealing with them is buying a Pentax OEM lens hood for the 18-55 a couple of weeks ago...great saving against RRP and arrived quickly, well packaged...not much to go on but couldn't fault the service or price.

"Uk sourced" description - I reckon is effectively an import.
If it doesn't say that, then it means non-import.
(just my take on it)

If only I had spare 500 quid laying about I'd grab that 20-40 .
Too bad my next bonus is in February.

Microglobe have always given their own 1 year warranty. I had a Sigma 50mm macro from them that was boxed as Sigma Germany source BUT the UK lot refused its serial number when i tried for the extended for the 3 year warranty. So much for us all being Europeans together eh? I've found Microglobe excellent excellent. It is a long running proper shop London based friends tell me.
I guess these are the sort of prices we'll get from Pro dealers when the next big lens sale comes along. 2 years surely matters for some SDM lenses but not otherwise.

The European law is a minimum 2 years warranty unless the customer accepts one year onlyMicroglobe have always given their own 1 year warranty. Interesting read, but I couldn't see the reference to "..unless the customer accepts one year only" - apart from in the section that refers to Second Hand items in which it says a guarantee of less than two years can be agreed as long as it is no shorter than one year! This is quite interesting when you consider that most Camera Shops advertise 3 or 6 month guarantees on Used Equipment.

Apologizes, yes It was about the second hand goods.
I'm not sure if you have to sign something like when buying a car or it's enough to advertize on the shop or online the amendment

Whether those lenses are actually in stock is another matter. I ordered an FA 31 Ltd from them some months ago at a similarly tempting price only to discover that it didn't exist. They did apologise and arranged a refund reasonably promptly but even then the written communications were in broken English which really didn't inspire much confidence in the professionalism of the company. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I expect a business transaction with a UK company to be conducted in reasonably clear and grammatical English. I wouldn't completely rule out using them again but its worth exercising some caution and perhaps enquiring whether the lens is in stock before ordering.

I've used them 3 times now with 0 problem.
They have a physical shop in central London.
Imports are clearly stated as such IMO.
