Pentax Kr discontinued, help!

I am trying to save up for the Pentax Kr and I have now been told it's discontinued.

I hope to get it in January but I am worried I won't be able to get it. Is it a good idea to buy it off of Amazon?

It's a lot of money so I am a bit worried, has anyone else bought things like this off of Amazon? Thanks.

They certainly know how to rile up their customers.

Why don't you speak to SRS, they wont mess you around and you may even be able to reserve one for January.

You can always buy a SH one on here (with receipt)that was originally supplied by SRS and SRS will transfer what remains of the 24 month
Warranty to you, because you are a member of this forum. Or buy SH
off SRS with whatever guarantee they give on SH cameras.

The Kr doesn't seem to suffer from many faults and is very
reliable.
