That's the one Aura, sorry if I didn't make it clear. I emailed Pentax about the same thing. Their reply was that the K-r was not being discontinued and is still in production. I only bought mine four or five days ago. I hope this sets your mind.

Thanks, Jessops told me they was being continued, and they wern't sure if they could get some in Jan.

Why don't you speak to SRS, they wont mess you around and you may even be able to reserve one for January.

You can always buy a SH one on here (with receipt)that was originally supplied by SRS and SRS will transfer what remains of the 24 month
Warranty to you, because you are a member of this forum. Or buy SH
off SRS with whatever guarantee they give on SH cameras.
The Kr doesn't seem to suffer from many faults and is very
reliable.

I hope to get it in January but I am worried I won't be able to get it. Is it a good idea to buy it off of Amazon?
