Pentax K7 with DA 17-70mm f/4 donation

I got the K7 in a bundle and have basically reached the point that I sold off some items I didn‘t need, kept the Sigma lens that I really wanted from it and more or less covered the cost already. This K7 seems to be in working order.

The 17-70mm is also surplus and I have sold it once and apparently the AF didn‘t work (at all!) on the buyer‘s K3. On the above K7 and my K5iis it was fine. Perhaps if I didn‘t use it for ages it took a bit to wake up properly but nothing major. I accepted a return and refunded and tested it on my bodies again. Weirdly it was a bit sketchy on my KP (which I didn‘t have when I originally tested) but still ok on the others. I do not really need it and wouldn‘t like to risk the inconvenience of it giving up the ghost whilst out with my KP.

I‘m sure I can spare a nifty fifty as well.

I‘ve decided to donate these items, ideally as a kit, to a budding (or broke) photographer that can get some joy out of them.

If any of you pentaxians know someone who would appreciate it, please get in touch. Could be one for kids/grandkids etc. or anyone else that wants to get into DSLR photography but doesn‘t have hundreds of £ spare to buy the kit. Whatever really, just make me a suggestion. It isn‘t a competition, pretty much just waiting for the first sensible option.
