This guy seems to be giving Pentax a pat on the back for the K7D, however I picked up on a couple of clangers. first off he claims poor Pentax users have had to stand by while other manufacturers bring out camera after camera with innovative features........sorry I just had to pick myself up off the floor......later in the video he demonsrates the mode dial going through all the various modes including Sv and TAv then adds that they are what you would expect to find, but he says the K7D does have an additional movie mode ERRR? shouldnt that be It has all the usual modes you expect to find PLUS Sv, TAv, Hyper Program and movie......sorry I just had to pick myself up from the floor again

And he walked over a couple of features which NO other manufacturer has to offer as well.
The option to correct the composition by moving and rotating the sensor and the fact that you can use the same possibilities as a leveling device (it includes a digital spirit level as well).

That sounds very nice. It's getting better with every release...
The other day I fired up my *ist-DS and it makes a inreadible rattle compared to the K20D. The K-7 is really nice and quiet.
That is really a huge improvement for people shooting weddings. I believe that Don will appreciate this as well.

Here is another video where there is a short part about the K-7 introduction. There is even a transparent version on display
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsMvSeqJNuI&feature=related&fmt=22
Interestingly this video is shot with a Panasonic Lumix GH1 with a 7-14mm lens. four-thirds system has a crop factor of two when i'm correct so it is a 14-28 in 35mm. For a APS-C sensor it would take a 10-20.
This video does show some nice possibilities with shooting video with a DSLR especially when you use focal lengths normally not available for video.
Fisheye, ultra-wide, ultra-tele, etc. More freedom when playing with DOF and such.
I still don't need video and I certainly don't have the time to process video files at the moment, I hardly get through the pile of RAW files sometimes.
[edit]
I just read that the GH1 is a micro four thirds camera.
