Took this shot of the angel of the north this morning not sure if the composition works but blown away again by the detail from the good old M 75-150mm this was shot at 150mm f8 the lens cost me 15 quid!

I like the framing between the trees and the fields in the background, a bit different from the usual shots of this subject.

I got the 75-150 last summer and was blown away by the image quality, even wide open it's incredibly sharp. I really must try to get out and about with it again.

Probably the best 15 quid you ever spent!

Thanks for the comments guys will be keeping this lens for my FF Pentax Simon if you come off the A1 northbound at the birtly angel turnoff and head up the bank towards eighton banks there is a layby on the right hand side of the road to park, i got the shot from the path on that road the ideal position would be on the green of the golf course next to the path! i live in washington and pass it on my daily commute too.

I like the composition

It is different in a good way - a decent 15 quid - the ff model will cost you a few quid more though
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.
