Pentax K-3 Sensor cleaning advice needed

If its on every image since your lens change, its certainly on the sensor, easy to clone out thou.

A DIY wet sensor clean isn't something to worry about, easy to do, purchase the right size of swab and the cleaning fluid, dampen the swab slightly, wipe in one direction ONLY, turn the swab over and wipe again, then discard.

Other than really stubborn marks, you should now have a clean sensor, if not repeat the process.

You'll need the camera powered up as you'll have to raise the mirror and make sure your battery is ideally fully charged, you don't want the mirror coming down whilst your using the swab.

I change lenses quite a bit whist out and about, dust can be minimised by always turning the camera off before removing a lens, facing the camera downwards for the change and doing it as quickly as poss, by doing this, I rarely need a wet clean, just an occasional wipe across the sensor with a " visible dust " but I'm not sure these are available in the UK anymore.

I wouldn't recommend this for the faint of heart or hard of wallet, but I have considerable success with a vacuum hoover and hand blower....

Put camera into sensor cleaning mode so the mirror locks up, hold camera upside down, turn hoover on and rest hoover nozzle just outside of the camera, between your knees if your in a seated position, this pulls air away from the sensor, position your rocket blower or other blower and use it as you would normally.... any dislodged dust or particles are 'hovered' away .....

I use my camera in all environments and change lens when most wouldn't, so finding a solution to sensor cleaning after being on the beach for example and changing lenses with sand being whipped up around me has forced a little out of the box thinking when it comes to sensor cleaning, last thing I want to be doing is a wet clean dragging sand particles over the glass cover of the camera sensor.
