Did you see whether they had any used equipment, and if so how were the prices?

Saw a bloke on the tube the other day proudly holding his naked Pentax DLSR in his lap. I refrained from whipping mine out.

I recommend more breathing exercises Pete.... then I'm sure you will feel more comfortable with handling your Pentax in public

I must get into an LCE some time when I have money (as in, when I haven't just bought an MX ). There don't seem to be many real world shops with used equipment left now.
I fondly remember the bigger branches of Jessops with cases full of sensibly priced used kit

I remember when even small branches of Dixons had used stuff. But then I also remember penny (1d) bars of chocolate!

I saw a Pentax ad on the tube station wall yesterday! Advertising the cashback offers. Things do seem to be moving in the right direction , finally!

Yes and i do belive they were stocking second-hand Pentax Len's to me it looked like it was a dedicated Pentax shop, stocking other bits aswell! Super helpful staff!
Worth a trip! so all head down!

In the latest Black & White magazine they had images by Gerard Keenan and he said his first camera was a Pentax

Well went into Chester today, for some picture taking, when i noticed a small camera shop, looked in the Window, saw lots of Pentax, Canon and Nikon stuff...
So i thought why not take a small look inside?
I walked in and the shop was failry busy, but i could not help notice the sheer amount of Pentax customers,some with K20's and KM and KX's the odd odd nikon user got a dirty look
They let me play with any lens i chose and had lots of fun!
Best thing they gave me this issue of pentax user free! should make a good read in the bath
