Pentax In The Sierra's

Have spent the last few days snowboarding at a few ski resorts in the Sierra's around the Lake Tahoe area which has been great. Anyway, thought I would post a few images taken with the K3 in conditions well suited to the K3, cold and snow.

The below images were taken at the Sierra resort on the ridge trail, Sugar & Spice.





None of the above are me, my body no longer bounces!

Currently resting up just outside Yosemite, so I am looking very forward to tomorrows photography opportunities. Fran & I are here for four days so we hope to get a few images whilst hiking the area which we will post when I get access to WIFI.

Well captured, a tighter crop might add some more impact. Colours look excellent and the weather good.

Please post more photos when you have time, this is a beautiful part of the world.

Have a great time in Yosemite. As I said in your other post we had boring blue skies (but lovely sunsets at tunnel view) which didn't make for interesting photos. I hear the falls are running again too - lucky you!
