I have been using a Pentax K-5 for the last 10 months and found it very enjoyable - the camera is as good as they say! However, the lack of a fast focussing lightweight 300mm type zoom [the lens that in the past I've used more than any other] has become increasingly frustrating so I've decided to change systems again.
All items are in excellent condition - the lenses have clear glass without scratches etc. and the barrels free from marks and scratches as far as I can see.

These items were purchased from SRS
-------------------------------------------
K5 Body - this is my second body -the first developed a sensor stain after about 4 months and was replaced with this one - serial number starts 400. The only sign of wear is on the ok button where the paint has rubbed off. Everything works perfectly.

£650.00 plus £15 RMSD
-----------------------------------------------------------
Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 DC Macro - I bought this because I had previously used one on my Nikons and really liked it. This is the non HSM version which has the reputation of being a tad sharper. At 70mm you can almost touch the subject as the focus distance is so short.

£150.00 plus £8.00 RMSD

------------------------------------------------------------
Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 Di LD Macro - this is a lovely lens!

£425.00 plus £15 RMSD

------------------------------------------------------------
Pentax 50-200mm WR - only used a couple of times.

£100.00 plus £8.00 RMSD

------------------------------------------------------------
I also have the Sigma 120-400mm HSM OS which I posted in a previous thread [this did not come from SRS]

£450 plus £20.00 RMSD

------------------------------------------------------------
OPEN TO OFFERS ON ALL ITEMS - BUT HOPEFULLY NOT SILLY ONES

Forgot to add that everything is in original box and lenses have caps, hoods and tripod ring/pouch where appropriate. There is a spare generic battery for the camera.

I'll get some pictures done and uploaded - can't do the camera straight away as I don't have anything to take it with until my friend returns my K20D that he's borrowed to use at Silverstone's Renault day [or whatever it was! ] - the K20D and 55-300 will be added for sale later in the week.

For anyone interested in the K-5 I have checked this morning and can see no trace of a sensor stain [one small dust bunny!]. As I said, this was a replacement body from a later batch so I assume should be OK - the other one developed the stain with use but this one does'nt seem to have done the same. I believe I've read here that SRS will honour the warranty for forum members, if this is the case the camera has well over one years warranty left.

Other items now available:

K20D body purchased a couple of months ago from Park Cameras as a second body. Just about mint condition - really good example. In original box with cables book etc. 2 batteries. £250.00 plus £15 RMSD

Pentax 55-300mm DAL - this lens was also purchased from Park Cameras [new] earlier this year. Again in excellent condition. About 2 months ago the af sound it makes during the transition from close to infinity started to sound a little different - sort of slightly wrrer wrrer wrrer rather than a loud wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - this is not the fastest focussing lens and seems to still focus at the same speed. Short focus adjustments don't seem any different from normal and the lens still focusses perfectly and accurately. I've continued to use it with no problems at all. I don't really want to get involved with sending off to see if there is anything wrong with it as it's still 100% useable. Could be a bargain for someone on a tight budget who wants a 55-300 with great optical quality.

£60 plus £8 RMSD

WILL ADD PHOTOS TONIGHT

OK - as I was hoping to to have to ebay - and would like to find good homes for the rest of this stuff...

K-5 £600.00 - I think that's the bottom line as I'd hope to get a bit more on ebay as there just are'nt any s/hand ones on there.

Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 - £400 - if you want a fast lens you can handhold this is the one! And it actually focusses quite fast on a K-5.

Pentax 50-200mm WR - £90 - hardly used so just like a new one

K20D - I think it's worth the £250 as it's such a good low mileage example but you never know....

all plus postage

pm if interested
