pentax equipment in the uk?

: I'm look for a shutter release cable for my newly acquired 645n II. Is there anywhere in the UK I can buy one. Ebay only seems to have USA sellers.

Other than paying a little more for postage, I would be happy to buy via the States on eBay. I have bought may items from the US with no problem at all. In may cases the good exchange rate with the $ makes purchase cheaper than buying here, even with the extra postage and small items such as the cable release will not attract any duty either. So my advice would be if you see it in the US and can't get it here, buy from America.

Quite agree. My two biggest photo purchases in the last three years have been from abroad (Canada and Germany), and both were no hassle at all.

I've bought several Ebay items from the US, and again, no problems.

Of course, it's just the common sense ebay check things - decent contact with the seller, good feedback etc etc.

I've had no problems from the U.S. (I'm in OZ) In fact I'm about to spens Au$3000 or so on lenses from there I think, although probably not from ebay.
