BTW: I think you can drop the 'newbie' bit now Amin, some of your images are very impressive. In particular, the candid shots of your family are very good, well composed, and perfectly exposed. Well done.

That is a great vote of confidence and it really boosts my spirits
Why just smoke? Why not bubble generator too : lol
Oh and dont start me on family portraits and candid shots or I am going to bore you with images of my family ha
I do have some taken actually that I would love to have some advice and recommendations and critiques for that matter, particularly on croppings and lighting. Will dig them up and put them to bore you lol

That's the stuff they call “Potcheen” made with a very special Irish “bean”.
Even stronger than the Dutch coffee.

Its not only friendly, but a lot of fun and a great place to get advise/help and information as well.
I am really glad a stubbled accross it!
When I embarked into DSLR world hardly a few months ago, five months to be precise I was a total newbie, an absolute ignorant in every aspect of DSLR photography, heck I was raw in photography in general point blank. I didn't know what Aperture was and I still remember asking what "stopping down" meant sometime ago, and even after someone told me it meant using higher number of aperture to keep the aperture smaller I just did it without knowing what it meant in practical terms.
But thanks to the kind and absolutely fantastic help of the forum members here I have learnt so much in between some fantastic social chatters and I am now using my K20 with confidence to the point now I can puff colourful smokes and blow bubbles with it .
