Is anyone here a member of the European Pentax community?

Living in the Netherlands seems to exclude me from joining it for some reason. I assume because Pentax don't do their own distribution here, but I feel hard done by! I'd love to know why we are not allowed to join.

Gwyn,I thought it was for customer registering new pentax DSLRs and lenses there and to receive newsletter from pentax.Not sure why it declined to register in Netherlands.

I did the same when I got my K110 and again when I got my K200.

I've never had anything from them either.

Is it a dead site?

Or don't they like me?

Hardgravity it says on their site that you get an individual very attractive special offer.I must av received the fresh air when i registered

you can register maybe at the Dutch site for updates, I know I did it somewhere, it could also be the American site though.

I registered my K20 there last December no confirmation or newsletter. I heard few people received some kind of vouchers towards next purchase.
Also it apperas there are two sites.

Ah! now that seems odd, why two sites, and which do we use?

I can't remember which site I used but as both seem to offer the same incentives it seems odd nobody's received anything.

I did both

just registered with both to see what happens.

Interesting. The one I linked to, with only 7 countries offers the "very attractive and individual special offer from the vast PENTAX program" and priority info on firmware updates. The other one, where I can sign up merely offers me a newsletter.
Don't think I'll bother with it. Thanks for replying everyone.
