Is it really worth 230GBP? I've got some serious LBA over this and though the guy who is selling them is out of stock, he will be getting more in soon.

A normal high quality TC goes for, what, 100 quid? This would give me full autofocus on all my manual lenses, but I'm worried about having a really bad case of buyers regret.

How much would you guys think this is worth?

K-5; Siggy 10-20 f4, 30mm f1.4, 18-50mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8; Tammy 400mm f4, 500mm f8

The price is what I would expect for a new one. It's one of the few TCs I would consider buying.

That's quite cheap compared to what they can go for. Especially before their "recent reintroduction" albeit a good few months ago now. Excellent optic though...

Worth the money if that is what you want.

I paid that for a new Pentax 2X (manual).

Bear in mind that you still have to get the focus approximately right before the TC makes the final adjustments automatically.

Apparently they are being built from 'spare parts'.

I paid that for a used one 8 months ago.

Excellent little TC .. probably the best quality there is for Pentax mount.

Also still waiting but the 1.7x was/is ideal for my Pentax A* 300mm f2.8.

I suppose if I did buy it and didn't use it much, I could probably sell it at not too much of a loss, eh?

They will probably always hold their value as I don't think Pentax will ever make anything like it again. Imagine all those manual focus lenses that could be semi AF

Just keep browsing Ebay and you will get lucky, I managed to snare 2 of them for almost nothing, people include them in thier old film kits and don't realise what they are worth.
I paid around 120quid for each of these kits and as you can see they both included the Pentax 1.7x TC

Hrm, well since you got some other great stuff with them ... I'll buy the TC off you for 120GBP which means you can keep the rest of the stuff for free!
