Lens cleaning people

Anyone have a person who can clean fungus from zoom lenses? I'm willing to rip apart primes, but I'm not sure if I want to 'go there' with a zoom. I found a great old lens which I'm quite interested in but it's got some fungi growing in there.

Any idea who to go to / what the cost would be (it's for a MF zoom so no electronics to worry about).

Ok, not particularly close to you then, but I can recommend this chap Alan http://www.cam-rep.co.uk/

He has cleaned/repaired a few lenses for me.

So 50gbp, that's not too bad actually. Well lemme see if I can get a good price on this lens then. Thanks for the info.

Alan serviced three of my lenses and I was very happy with the service.

Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Hi Kris,

Better to be quiet and to be thought a fool, than to open ones mouth and remove any possible doubt.

Pramath (Asahi) will probably be less, he adjusted and cleaned my FA 50 macro for just under 30 quid including the Vear und Tear, did a beautiful job as well.

Alan serviced 4 lenses for me a while back and did a good job but when I asked about the memory card door on my K10D he said he was very busy atm and would get back to me in a couple of weeks. That was about 2 months ago.
