Hi!!! I've two (2) AF280T, and I can't get the ready lamp on one of them. I compared the "winding" noise they make when charging, seems to be equal, but no ready light on one. I' ve change the batteries with the same result...

Thank you!!!!!! In advance....

First question - does it actually flash? You might just have a faulty ready light and listening to the "winding" noise should tell you when it's ready to go.

Secondly, does the MX give a ready signal in the viewfinder when used with the AF280T (like the LX does)?

Just a thought.

Just checked the manual. It doesn't

Hi,
I haven't come across this problem but I have come across others on the same gun. I can point you toward the Pentax repair manual if you need it.

Hi,
Repair manual available here from my website http://pentax-manuals.com/manuals/service/servicemanuals.htm
Remember there are high voltages generated in a flashgun so you need to be very careful.

Regards
Kim
